Cephalometrics tracings

These tracings of the craneometric points, planes and angles are done on transparent acetates or are computer generated and serve to study the position of the teeth and maxillary bones in relation to the cranial  and facial structures. Also to study patterns and predict growth.  There are many different cephalometric studies and the orthodontist will perform those he or she considers necessary.
