Ten yrs.-old
patient with a Cl II molar relationship, maxillary dental protrusion, deep bite,
lack of space for the maxillary canines and the mandibular first premolar on the
left, as well as possible altered eruption of the mandibular second molars.
Treatment Plan:
1.Distalize the maxillary first molars
2. Make space for the maxillary canines
3. Make space for the mandibular premolars
4. Open the bite
5. Discover the second mandibular molars surgically, if and as indicated

Results after 2 ½ years of treatment. The lower left second molar erupted
spontaneously, only the right was surgically discovered and no mechanics were
necessary to guide them into position, which they did so spontaneously
