Equipment used for computerized cephalometrics

Patient radiographs are converted to digital images which are then inserted in the computer and superimposed on head and face photographs.  Special computer programs are used to perform different growth, dental and osseous positioning studies on these images to obtain a better diagnosis and treatment plan.
