| Duhring’s dermatitis herpetiformis |
| This is
a pemphigoid type blistering disease that according to Grinspan
and Abufalia is one of five varieties of Duhring-Brocq disease. It manifests with the appearance of blisters, vesicles, erythema,
urticaria, pustules and scabs.
The blister arises over the erythematous skin, which differentiates
it from the pemphigus blister which is seen over intact skin. The
blisters are subepithelial and oral manifestations are very rare
