Papule,
tubercule y nodule
|
"Papules, tubercules and nodules are solid elementary lesions.
Papules are superficial and leave no scar; they do not occur very
frequently. Generally, two
opposing processes produce them: secondary syphilis and the flat wart.
Tubercules are very rare in the mouth and when they do arise one must
think about a chronic infectious disease;
they are located in the connective tissue and leave a scar.
Nodules are circumscript, deep, submucous lesions. The most important oral nodule is the gumma, which evolves
subacutely.Gummas in the mouth are seen during chronic infectious
diseases and in particular, during syphilis (tongue,palate)."
